Blackmagic Design Atem Sdi Extreme Iso

The Blackmagic Design ATEM SDI Extreme ISO is a professional 8-input live production switcher designed for demanding multi-camera broadcast, streaming and event production workflows.

With eight standards-converted 3G-SDI inputs, the ATEM SDI Extreme ISO allows cameras and other SDI sources to be connected into a compact production system while providing the switching, monitoring, streaming and recording tools required for professional live productions. Each SDI input includes frame-rate and format conversion, helping simplify productions where sources may not initially match the switcher’s video standard.

One of its biggest advantages is ISO recording. The switcher can record nine separate H.264 video streams simultaneously — clean feeds from all eight SDI inputs plus the program output. A DaVinci Resolve project file is also saved, allowing the original live production to be opened later for editing, colour correction and audio refinement.

For live delivery, the integrated hardware streaming engine allows productions to be streamed directly over Ethernet without requiring a separate streaming encoder. The switcher also provides multiview monitoring, USB webcam output, media players, keying, DVE effects and professional audio mixing tools.

The ATEM SDI Extreme ISO is particularly well suited to productions that need a portable all-in-one workflow without sacrificing professional SDI connectivity. It can form the centre of a multi-camera studio, live event, corporate production, house of worship installation, educational facility or mobile broadcast system.
