Blackmagic Design Atem Streaming Bridge
The Blackmagic Design ATEM Streaming Bridge is a compact professional streaming decoder designed to bring remotely transmitted video back into a conventional SDI or HDMI production workflow.
It receives a compatible H.264 video stream over Ethernet and converts it into professional 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs. This makes it possible to send high-quality video between studios, venues and remote production locations using a local network or internet connection instead of relying on traditional dedicated video links.
For remote production, the ATEM Streaming Bridge provides a practical way to receive a feed from compatible ATEM Mini or ATEM SDI systems and deliver that signal into a switcher, monitor, recorder or other production equipment. It provides two 3G-SDI outputs and one HDMI output, making it suitable for both professional broadcast infrastructure and HDMI-based AV environments.
The unit also includes a 3G-SDI reference input supporting Black Burst and Tri-Sync, allowing it to integrate more effectively into professional facilities where synchronisation with existing broadcast infrastructure is required.
This makes the ATEM Streaming Bridge particularly useful for remote interviews, contribution feeds, distributed productions, houses of worship, corporate broadcasts and multi-location events where video needs to travel between locations while still arriving as a standard SDI or HDMI signal.
