The Blackmagic Design Cloud Store Mini 8TB is a high-performance network storage solution designed for professional video production, editing and collaborative media workflows where multiple users need fast access to the same files.

Instead of storing large video projects separately on individual editing computers, the Cloud Store Mini creates a central 8TB shared storage environment that can be accessed across your network. Four internal M.2 NVMe SSDs operate together in RAID 0, providing the performance required for demanding media files and simultaneous access by multiple users.

A dedicated 10G Ethernet connection provides high-speed network access, while an additional 1G Ethernet port gives users more flexibility when integrating the unit into existing network infrastructure. USB-C can also provide Ethernet-over-USB connectivity, making it possible to connect a computer directly without requiring a separate Ethernet adapter.

The Cloud Store Mini supports up to 50 computer connections and works with both SMB and NFS file-sharing protocols. This makes it particularly useful for editing suites, production companies, broadcast facilities and content teams where editors, colourists, graphics operators and other production staff need access to shared project media.

An HDMI monitoring output provides a visual overview of the storage system on a standard display, including storage capacity and usage, user activity, hardware status, network data rates and cloud synchronisation status.

Cloud synchronisation further expands the workflow beyond a single facility. Amazon Web Services S3 synchronisation is supported, helping production teams distribute and synchronise media between locations.
