Blackmagic Design Decklink IP HD 3G-SDI

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP/SDI HD is a professional PCI Express capture and playback card designed to bridge traditional SDI video systems with modern SMPTE ST 2110 IP broadcast infrastructure.

Unlike the DeckLink IP HD, this model combines professional 3G-SDI connectivity with 10G Ethernet on the same PCIe card. This gives broadcasters, production facilities and system integrators the flexibility to work with existing SDI equipment while introducing IP-based video into the same workstation.

The 10G Ethernet interface supports SMPTE ST 2110 IP video workflows, while the 3G-SDI connections provide conventional professional video I/O. This hybrid design makes the card particularly useful for facilities transitioning from SDI to IP, as existing cameras, routers, monitors and other SDI equipment can continue to operate alongside newer IP infrastructure.

The DeckLink IP/SDI HD supports SD and HD formats up to 1080p60, with professional embedded audio and high-quality video processing. SMPTE ST 2110 support includes uncompressed video, PCM audio, ancillary data and PTP timing for synchronised broadcast environments.

Its multi-channel architecture makes the card suitable for ingest, playback, graphics, streaming, monitoring and custom broadcast applications. The combination of IP and SDI connectivity also gives system designers greater flexibility when building hybrid production environments where both technologies need to coexist.
