Blackmagic Design Decklink Studio 4K Capture & Playback Card

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Studio 4K is a professional PCI Express capture and playback card designed for production and post-production environments that need to work with a wide variety of digital and analogue video equipment.

With both 6G-SDI and HDMI connectivity, the DeckLink Studio 4K supports workflows ranging from SD and HD through to 2K and Ultra HD. Unlike more specialised capture cards, it also provides extensive analogue video and audio connectivity, making it particularly useful when modern production equipment needs to operate alongside legacy video sources.

The card provides SDI and HDMI video input and output together with component, composite and S-Video connectivity. Professional balanced analogue audio and AES/EBU support further expand its ability to integrate with existing studio, editing and broadcast equipment.

For synchronised professional environments, the DeckLink Studio 4K includes a reference input supporting Tri-Sync and Black Burst, while RS-422 deck control allows compatible professional video decks and devices to be integrated into the workflow.

Built-in video processing provides down conversion as well as up and cross conversion capabilities for supported workflows, helping connect equipment operating with different video standards.

The DeckLink Studio 4K is particularly well suited to editing suites, ingest stations, archive and migration workflows, broadcast facilities and production systems where a single workstation may need to connect to both current digital equipment and older analogue hardware.
