Blackmagic Design Hyperdeck Extreme 4K HDR

The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR is a professional broadcast deck designed for high-quality recording and playback in SD, HD and Ultra HD production environments.

Built around a large 7-inch HDR touchscreen, the HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR combines professional recording, playback, monitoring and deck control in a compact half-rack-width design. The bright 2000 nit display provides an excellent view of your video while also giving direct touchscreen access to deck settings and controls.

The HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR supports recording and playback in formats up to Ultra HD 2160p60, with support for professional codecs including Apple ProRes, DNxHD, DNxHR, H.264 and H.265. H.265 recording provides excellent image quality while reducing storage requirements for Ultra HD workflows.

Professional connectivity includes 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 video inputs and outputs, together with analogue component and composite video inputs. This makes the recorder suitable for both modern digital production systems and workflows that still need to ingest legacy analogue video sources.

Two CFast 2.0 card slots provide high-performance internal recording media, while USB-C allows recording directly to compatible external storage. An optional internal M.2 NVMe cache can also be installed for additional recording flexibility.

The HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR includes professional waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope and histogram monitoring, along with 3D LUT support for HDR and colour-managed workflows.

With 10Gb Ethernet, RS-422 deck control, reference input, timecode connections and professional analogue audio, the HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR is designed for demanding broadcast, live production, mastering, archiving and post-production environments.
