Built for broadcast facilities, live production, mastering, archiving and high-resolution playback, the HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR combines professional recording and playback with a large 7-inch HDR touchscreen, extensive signal connectivity and support for modern file-based workflows.

At the centre of the system is support for video formats up to 4320p60 8K, with Quad Link 12G-SDI providing the bandwidth required for full-resolution 8K workflows. The multi-rate SDI connections also allow the deck to operate with SD, HD and Ultra HD systems, making it suitable for facilities working across multiple generations of broadcast infrastructure.

The built-in 7-inch 1920 × 1200 HDR display provides direct video monitoring together with deck controls, timecode, audio meters, media information and recording status.
