The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle HD is a desktop recorder and clip player built for live production, program playback and straightforward master recording. Its console-style controls and large metal search dial make it quick to cue clips, jog through media and control playback without relying on a rack-mounted deck.

With HDMI input and output, it connects easily to cameras, monitors, projectors and compact production switchers such as ATEM Mini. It records and plays SD, HD and 2K DCI formats using ProRes, DNxHD or H.264, giving production teams a practical choice between post-production quality and space-efficient files.

Record to UHS-I or UHS-II SD cards, or connect USB-C storage for longer sessions and fast media handoff. ExFAT support keeps media accessible across Windows and Mac workflows, while HFS+ is available for Mac-based environments.

A 1Gb Ethernet connection and the Blackmagic HyperDeck Ethernet Protocol support remote deck control and FTP media upload. HDMI start/stop and timecode-run triggering can also simplify compatible recording workflows.
