Cartoni Magnum HP is a high-payload fluid head for fully equipped studio and outside broadcast cameras, including installations with long boxed lenses, large viewfinders or teleprompters. Its counterbalance is designed for high-centre-of-gravity camera packages weighing 30–130 kg. This makes load configuration and support selection part of specifying the complete camera position.

Planetary fluid damping provides continuously adjustable pan and tilt resistance. Digital readouts show pan, tilt and balance settings, helping an operator check the configuration. The head offers ±65° tilt movement, an illuminated spirit level and front threaded holes for teleprompter tubes.

The Magnum HP interfaces with Mitchell flat tripods and pedestal supports using the four-hole system. A telescopic pan bar and tie-down knob are included. The dovetail camera plate and a second pan bar are separate purchases, so include those requirements when planning the installation.
