Cartoni Master 65 is intended for outside broadcast camera positions with bulky boxed lenses and other substantial camera equipment. The manufacturer specifies a 20–87 kg camera-weight range. Its steel-cable counterbalance helps support the assembled camera as the operator tilts, while continuous fluid drag provides adjustable resistance for long-lens camera moves.

The camera platform has a crank-operated sliding adjustment for centring the camera package. Controls are arranged for access during operation, with a counterbalance readout and illuminated spirit level to assist setup. The head offers ±65° tilt movement and a horizontal lock.

This is a flat Mitchell-base head supplied with a telescopic pan bar and tie-down knob. The dovetail camera plate is ordered separately. Check the whole camera package, its centre of gravity and the supporting platform when specifying a studio or OB position.
