The Godox KNOWLED AM1600R 8 × 8 is a 230 × 230 cm full-colour LED mat built for large film, television, broadcast and virtual-production sets. Its inflatable butterfly frame creates a broad, lightweight soft source without a conventional truss structure and can reach 8 psi in approximately three minutes.

The AM1600R covers 1800K to 10,000K with CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL and FX modes, plus full green/magenta correction. CRI 96 and TLCI 97 support accurate colour, while 0–100% dimming, four dimming curves and 14 effects provide detailed creative control.

Professional control options include onboard operation, wired DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, Ethernet protocols and Bluetooth app control from up to 60 m. Both the light body and controller carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance during demanding studio and location work.

The supplied soft film, two diffuser fabrics, pancake lantern, grid and skirt can be used individually or combined to change softness and spill. The complete system packs into the included flight case, and the supplied repair kit supports efficient field maintenance of the inflatable frame.
